History of the people
The early population was distributed into various of tribes and they were scattered all around with different cultures. The most important part in their lives since then were agriculture, fishing, hunting, animal husbandry, and collecting forest products. Forest products and usage were very important because, there were full of rich forest in the area that period.
History of art
The art of the people in the past were how they created amazing architectures like the Royal Palace of Cambodia. Another of these architectures is the Moonlight Pavilion in Cambodia too. One of these famous temples is the Angkor Wat. This temple is the combination of the Bayon Temple and other several temples as well. To be exact, the Angkor Wat temple was created during the civilization of the Khmer. They say that the Angkor Wat temple was created because of Military and government issues.

The culture of southeast asia has passed down from many years. Rice paddy is a very important food related culture. Also many dances (usually containing hands and feet) is a very important part. There are also traditional sport such as Muai Thai, which is one of the most famous sport in Southeast Asia.
History of the Religion
In the early centuries of the Common Era, people in many parts of Southeast Asia came to know Buddhism as a result of increased contact with the Indian sellers who had come to the region to trade. The Indian sellers not only established trading stations in Southeast Asia, but they also brought their religions and cultures with them. After there influence the local people began to practice Buddhism and Hinduism. The highest religion in Southeast Asia is Buddhism (94.6%).
